ApplyMigo helps you find LinkedIn jobs that fit your resume. To do that we have to read your resume, so this page says plainly what we keep, what we send to AI models, who else sees it, and how to make us delete it.

01What we collect

We collect only what the product needs to find and score jobs for you:

  • Account details — your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile picture. We never receive your Google password.
  • Your resume — the text we extract from the PDF you upload or the text you paste, the file's name, and a structured summary of it (titles, years of experience, skills, industries). We do not keep the PDF file itself.
  • Job preferences — target titles, locations, workplace types, seniority, job types, salary floor, whether you need visa sponsorship, companies to exclude, and your alert settings.
  • Job monitors and matches — the LinkedIn searches you ask us to watch, the postings they find, the match scores, reasons and gaps we generate, and what you do with each job (saved, applied, hidden, notes, pipeline stage).
  • AI drafts — cover letters, tailored resume bullets and answers you generate, and a daily count of them so we can apply your plan's limit.
  • Billing records — your plan, subscription status and Stripe customer ID. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • Basic usage data — pages visited, the referring site or campaign, and approximate location from your IP address, used to understand how people find and use ApplyMigo.

02LinkedIn data

ApplyMigo reads public LinkedIn job postings — the same postings anyone can see without signing in. We do not ask for your LinkedIn password, we never sign in to LinkedIn as you, and we do not read your LinkedIn profile, connections or messages.

You apply to jobs yourself, on LinkedIn or the employer's site. ApplyMigo is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.

03How we use your data

  • To run your job monitors and decide which new postings to show you.
  • To score each posting against your resume and explain the score.
  • To draft cover letters, resume bullets and application answers when you ask for them.
  • To send the email alerts and account emails you have chosen to receive.
  • To bill your subscription and apply your plan's limits.
  • To answer your support requests, prevent abuse and keep the service working.

04AI processing

Scoring and drafting are done by large language models. To score a job, we send the posting text together with your resume text and preferences to an AI model provider; to draft a cover letter or answer, we send the same plus the request you typed.

We send your data to these providers only to produce your results, and we do not use it to train AI models of our own. AI output can be wrong — treat a match score as a second opinion and read every draft before you send it.

05Email alerts

If alerts are on, we email you new matches daily or weekly, as you choose, from [email protected]. Every alert has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can change the frequency or turn alerts off in Settings. We also send a few account emails (welcome, payment receipts) that you cannot opt out of while you have an account.

06Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with employers or recruiters. We share it only with the service providers that run ApplyMigo for us, and only what each one needs:

  • Stripe — payments and subscription management.
  • AI model providers — scoring and drafting, as described above.
  • Google — sign-in, if you choose “Continue with Google”.
  • Hosting, database and email-delivery providers — to store your data and deliver email.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

07Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and first-party cookies and local storage to remember where a visit came from and to measure how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies on the signed-in app.

08Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is open. You can replace or remove your resume, edit preferences, pause or delete monitors and hide jobs at any time from inside the app.

To delete your account and everything in it, email [email protected] from the address you sign in with. We delete your resume, preferences, monitors, matches and drafts within 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR and the CCPA — you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we process it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is limited to the people who run the service, and payment details never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you without undue delay.

11Children

ApplyMigo is for people of working age and is not directed at anyone under 16.

12Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, email you. Questions about privacy: [email protected].
